Bookkeeper (Senior Level)                                                                        

Position:	Bookkeeper Senior Level interested in starting their own bookkeeping business
Pay Scale:	Compensation will be according to experience - Contract status
Duration:	1.5 to 2 years
Hours:	Part-time to start, leading to Full-time - Schedule to be discussed

Digits & Decimals ™ is offering the ideal candidate the opportunity to be mentored in this pilot project.

You are the right person for this job if:

1. You are a Certified Professional Bookkeeper or bookkeeper with extensive experience - minimum 3 years;
2. You have a strong grasp of the intricacies of payroll;
3. Your English is excellent;
4. You have excellent computer skills, experience with accounting software (QuickBooks and Simply Accounting), Microsoft Office Suite;
5. You have an ability to prioritize and complete tasks within prescribed deadlines;
6. You have excellent follow-up and tracking skills;
7. You have excellent communication skills, a professional presentation and good conduct;
8. You are interested in having your own bookkeeping practice in two years.

And on top of all that, you have:

Experience with A/R, A/P, GST, WCB, ROE, Cash Flow, Year-End Transactions, Financial Statement Reporting, and Inventory Management.

1. A minimum of two years experience with full-cycle accounting.
2. Knowledge of other accounting software.
