 Stéphanie Descôteaux
 President, CEO and Bookkeeping Systems Specialist

Stéphanie founded Digits & Decimals Inc. ™ in 2002 and has never looked back. Stéphanie’s passion to help new and growing businesses succeed is driven by her own knowledge of the true power of good bookkeeping.  She takes a personal and educative approach to working with her clients that is as empowering as it is effective; it is no wonder that her impressive list of new and loyal clients continues to grow.

Stéphanie works as a mentor to her other accounting professionals; so much so, that coaching and working with contracted accounting professionals is now one of her business’ known specialties. 

Stéphanie holds a technical degree in hotel management and numerous certificates in leadership, management, accounting and payroll. Stéphanie’s professional affiliations include membership in the Canadian Payroll Association and the Canadian Bookkeepers Association. She is also a Certified Advisor with Quickbooks and a Simply Accounting Partner.

On a personal note:  Stéphanie came to Vancouver from her native Montreal nearly 10 years ago with just a car and one pay cheque in her pocket – just another example of Stéphanie’s confidence in herself and her indomitable entrepreneurial spirit. 

Sharon Enman
Manager, Business Development & Client Services

Very soon after starting at Digits & Decimals, clients were singing Sharon’s praises.  She knows personally what it means to be a business owner and that bookkeeping is the turnkey to doing it well.

For more than 20 years, Sharon was a partner in her own bookkeeping consulting company.  Their expertise launched them into success and Sharon was part of exciting projects for signature clients including MacMillan Bloedel, The Jim Pattison Group, CN, Vancouver’s ALRT, Microtel and others.  The motivation for the work she did was to enable growth and change – two hallmarks for business survival.  She brings a wealth of experience to Digits & Decimals and sees her role as streamlining procedures and providing good interface so that clients receive the best possible service.

When her workday is done, Sharon doesn’t stop working.  She volunteers for food banks and collects and delivers necessary items for Directions Youth  - a centre that provides support for homeless youth and youth at-risk in Vancouver.  Sharon is one of those unique people that can see the value of giving your best to both the for-profit and not-for-profit environments.
